| Excellent free house with constistently good beer. Landlord a real ale enthsiast and good food. Rural location with a rustic contingent of locals. Only bad thing about the pub is that the local bus service (the number 40) only runs until 6pm or so and not at all on Sundays. charlie_m - 28 Nov 2009 13:54 |
| Good food here though definately not in the cheap "pub grub" category. We found the landlord to be friendly and welcoming (despite the fact we arrived wet and muddy) which was just what we needed on a freezing cold Sunday. The beer was clearly well kept.
