Walked up the hill, discovered it was a Wankerspoons, looked through the window, usual selection of wasters and derilicts drinking cheap booze, walked back down the hill. No thanks.

A typical Wetherspoons, but is an expensive one since the same chain charge 50-60p per pint cheaper in Portsmouth.

It's a Wetherspoon pub... you have been to one you have been to them all.

Plenty of better choices on the Island for the more intrepid drinker.

Busy and friendly Wetherspoons. Enthusiastic young bar staff. Brilliant selction of ales duing the beer fest. Usual food, but very well prepared and presented. Excellent steak. Well done all round.

Was very hot and stuffy when we visited a couple of months back and the ale selection was rather lacking in inspiration bearing in mind it's location,6.5/10
