We visited this pub on Friday 23rd February 2007 and it appeared to be closed because extensive building work was going on. We were told elsewhere that the building's damp proof course was being worked on.

A glorious pub. Full of armchairs and sofas & a real log fire. Superb food from an extensive menu. I can recommend the Sunday lunch or the simply gorgeous chicken sandwich with home made chips. The best beer there is the Camerons Strong Arm Ruby Red Ale. Home from home but get there for 12 on Sunday or you won't get in.
