| visited for first time with long lost friends not seen for 4 years. Had a very nice meal in an excellent enviroment - waitress was first class and food good - a good choice of real ales. despite finishing meal reasonably early we were allowed to remain in the area and left at 12.30 am (not pushed out either) An excellent evening all round tigertravel - 9 Jul 2007 08:31 |
| Only visited lunchtimes (over Christmas 2005) lovely pub, conventional pub meals menu, tables really low - knee level - some tables had setees which I suppose would bring you down to table level but we didn't get one which put us off a bit for future visits. | Really nice pub. used to be much cosier in the left side with big comfy chairs and an open fire but this has been changed to dining tables.shame. My only problem with this pub is that it is way too expencive. Turnip55 - 29 Sep 2005 13:49 |
