Great little pub, with a laid back, friendly atmosphere (infinitely cooler and friendlier than the nearby Old Queens Head, which I have always found to be slightly up its on ass - and for no good reason). Been several times over the past few months and always enjoy myself. Great free jukebox, with all sorts of quality rock music (The Ramones, Black Sabbath, The Clash, CCR, Kyuss, Dinosaur Jr, The Stooges, etc), and a very good pool table. Probably do the best Sunday roast you will find in London as well - give it a whirl.

A very friendly place with decent beers, an active pool table and a good smokers garden ("the bike sheds"). Pop in for a swift half and you'll probably end up staying till the bitter end chatting away to some friendly punters. Well worth a visit, particularly if you fancy a decent game of pool.

My favourite pub for late night drinks. Decent ish beer and great music. nice people.

Not a pub for a sunny saturday, but all the better for it.

free jukebox! need i say anymore? ok, there's some proper gorgeous retro lights in the back next to the pool table, and yeah it's expensive, but it's angel, officially the best kept secret rip-off in london. so enjoy if you're feeling flush-ish...
