Cheap, dodgy on weekends but not seen any real trouble, good ales when on and some staff are friendly. Thursdays seem like I.D. night with lots of teens, while the rest of the week's left for 50-60's all with cirrosis. Not bad/good ITS A WETHERSPOONS. pintofcase - 19 Jun 2011 23:12

OK pub, full of alcys and can feel a bit rough but they're all harmless. £1.59 for a pint on Monday and Wednesdays and Curry Club on Thursdays is cheap as well. Don;t show any sport though. Can get a bad crowd in on Fri, Sat nights but overall it's not too bad considering how cheap it is dodardodar - 3 Jul 2008 01:55
they recenly spent thousands and some 'cold pump' system or something like that, anyway now the beer is that cold cold it hurts your teeth - not a problem for most the people who go in there during the day as they have none.. all jokes aside, its a good boozer! anonymous - 27 Nov 2007 15:29
Good rotation of real ales although sometimes back ends so check the quality first. Do have annoying habit of serving them very cold, which is fine for lagerboys, but not for the rest of us. However, if left for a few minutes the taste returns. Pub much the better for the smoking ban, the fall out hangs around outside the front looking sad for themselves. Food variable although curry nights on Thursday generally OK. mikey64 - 21 Jul 2007 15:08
