| I am in a band which provided demo cd's to the landlord. He booked the band, and, in good time before the gig, posters were delivered to him. On seeing that we played Deep Purple material, he was concerned our music might be "too heavy" . He was assured that we could leave the heavier songs out, as we had a large repertoire, but he subsequently phoned to cancel the booking. BANDS BEWARE - the landlord is not reliable on bookings. | Two Ringwood beers plus a Brakspeare and Timothy Taylor Landlord - my Ringwood 49 was excellent as was the French onion soup. Only got as far as the Public Bar, wooden floorboards and flagstones, locals and a couple of suits when I was there. I'll be back! Feed - 19 Mar 2010 08:19 |
