Very busy on Saturday lunchtime with many watching the Liverpool-Man U match. Very much like being in a big Fuller's pub in London, although at £3.25 a pint I have drunk a lot of cheaper London Pride in the capital in recent times (it was a fair pint though). This is a good place for those who like to drink in a bustling but friendly atmosphere.

Good solid Fullers pub - great ales, nicely busy on a week night - didn't try the Thai food, but it it seemed very popular!!

A good drop of Butcombe Bitter and I must admit I was very nearly tempted by the smell of Thai food wafting across the bar (but Pieminister pies awaited later). The Sky TV sports news channel was on but with no sound so it was not distracting and overall this is a good pub - worth a visit.
