Went here for dinner last night and the food was excellent and good value on the set menu, the muscles were plentiful and the steak perfectly cooked. They have a few ales on tap and a pint of Junction to finish off the meal from the locally produced Sambrooks was a lovely drop indeed. Will be going back for dinner from time to time and just for a drink more often.

Worth the confused couple of minutes walking round the darkened building trying to find the way in.

Went here a few weeks ago for a wedding reception. Three real ales on offer, 2 from Shepherd Neame and the other was Sambrooks Wandle which is always a good pint.

Quite a small place in a large building which makes it difficult to find. Best way to get in is from Trinity Road, not John Archer Way. There is a courtyard area where you can drink and smoke.

We had some nice cheeses but doubt this is on their normal menu.

Called in for recent fest on England international football day. Was told YES we are showing the match, on arrival No we are not as no saterlite TV.

Beers ok but the place could do better with better advertising and more seating.

Small bar selling three real ales including two of Tottenham's Redemption Brewery at the moment. You take your drink and sit in the courtyard which is one of several within this converted Gothic school, a building whose atmosphere I found unnerving - partly because I have been aware of this edifice for decades yet until now never got closer than seeing it from the train - so I was not able to stay very long.

I agree with ace1973. This was a bit of a bugger to find. In fact, I don't think I've had such difficulty locating a pub since the likes of the Falcon in Cwmaman or the Bulls Head in Craswall. However, this is a bit of a hidden gem. With 3 handpulls and very little custom, unsurprisingly only 2 were on. Both were from Downton - Quadhop and Chocolate Orange Delight. Mr Whitehead's Strawberry cider was available from the cellar. A recent beer festival at Halloween had apparently featured 80 beers. The barman informed me that they have 2 each year. Architecturally, the building itself is something to behold. The manager was sat with an engaged couple who were seeking to book the place as a wedding venue. I overheard him saying that it was booked up most Saturdays. After all that effort trying to find it, I was glad I had picked a wedding-free Saturday. Worth seeking out.
