Good pub. Always have some good beers on. Food is excellent. Wonderful interior. Great atmosphere. How pubs should be! wooly2708 - 5 Aug 2010 00:13
On a raw October afternoon, with time to kill, this place proved to be a great choice for hunkering down for a few pints in front of the roaring log fire. The girls behind the bar were attentive and great fun to boot. Isn't life grand. Jay28 - 26 Oct 2009 12:28
Beer was fine (Thwaites) tho needed to be for above average prices. Food looked fine with many takers. Front bar area is the original hotel reception area so can be cosy. Larger side room with pool & TV. Leicesterbeer - 7 Sep 2009 10:07
Went last week on the Saturday night during our third visit to Settle. Very popular place (a young and older crowd) selling Thwaites beers. Beer was ok though perhaps not quite as good as on previous visits. It seems to have taken over from the Royal Oak as the Saturday night place to be seen. It has a public bar, traditional lounge bar and a lovely formal dining room. 7 out of 10. Old_King_Cole - 9 Jul 2009 21:46
