Large pub with some attractive features inside, although it doesn't look much from the outside. Busy on a Saturday night with both diners and drinkers. A good mix of ages with a slightly separate area for younger drinkers and louder music. Friendly staff and Harveys Best and Ringwood Fortyniner on tap. halfabitterman - 10 Jul 2011 12:36
Large, welcoming pub with friendly staff. Good choice of beer with Harveys, Ringwood and Courage on when I visited. The Harveys was very good. Floyd - 29 Jun 2011 17:47

I have known this pub for at least 20 years, the last 7 of which as a 3 times a week regular. Good beer at reasonable prices, lovely food by 2 good chefs, as is proved by the number of repeat bookings. The staff are friendly & warm hearted. No matter what time of day you go in, there are always customers, who always give them a warm welcome. I do not know of a better pub in the area. Tbsp - 15 Feb 2011 14:36
I have been using this pub for over a year. It is without doubt one of the best pubs in Hastings. The staff always have a smile and a greeting to everyone who enters. I have read the other reviews on this site about the Bopeep. I do not agree with a most of them The food is excellent and I eat there most weeks. The beer is the best in the town. I would not travel 5 miles to a pub that was not up to a good standard. Go have a look and see. I highly recommend the Bopeep.... petemartin - 14 Feb 2011 14:19
