| Many years ago, when the earth was young, this was my local. I was the captain of the darts team and even played cricket for them. I also used to DJ here in the 80’s. It’s changed a bit since then, but it’s still basically the same. White painted walls outside lead to a corridor with two doors off. These lead to the pubs two comfortable lounges although one is still used for darts & dominoes. It’s a Sam Smiths pub so prices are very competitive, however it has no cask ale, even the OBB is keg. It’s a pleasant enough pub but the lack of cask ale means that I don’t visit that often anymore. ROBCamra - 7 Apr 2009 15:27 |
