user reviews of the Tiger, Derby

Not as bad as people make out. Beer usually kept well. Pedigree now gone but I had a pint of Directors which was in fine fettle though quite pricey. Customers mixed and varied but usually friendly enough. Staff friendly too.

This is not a good place
Funny smell when you walk in and its not from the fish market
Lots of strange looking people, claustrophobic and only sells either lager or bitter.
This is a real dump and looks like a regulars pub.

as someone said, toilets are awful. Avoid.

As it's not huge on ale I hadn't visited before. Though I was very satisfied when I did. The only ales on were Bass and Pedi (I had the Bass which was good, not perfect, but still enjoyable). The food on the other hand, in my opinion was absolutely gorgeous! It was the best gammon I've had in years! The price was also reasonable - £4.40 for gammon, pineapple, chips and salad. Barmaid and waitress were both very friendly. Will be going back soon.

A strange little place near the Guildhall market / outdoor fish market. Food is average (served at lunchtimes) and Bass is the only real ale.

Very strange layout and very dark inside during the day and night. Attracts some very strange people but seems friendly enough.

Toilets are a dump - take my advice - tie a knot and go to another place.
