A complete and utter disgrace. Spectacularly expensive (£8.05 for a Guinness and a SMALL white wine) and phenomenally unfriendly. Avoid like the plague unless you like to be treated like sh1t on a night out. With places like this, is it any wonder that pubs around the country are closing down at the rate of five per day? I would gladly bulldoze this one myself given half a chance. ChrisBYO - 4 Jul 2009 09:16
Please don't support this pub. The owner doesn't pay his staff and replaces them instead. He owes a lot of people a lot of money. Be wise and spend yours elsewhere. Minimumwage - 1 Jul 2009 21:25
They are really missing a trick with this pub, great location but a bland interior with a mediocre beer garden. The food wasn't great either, a small bowl of houmus, one pitta bread and some chopped up carrots and cucumber, one baby tomato and two radishes, £4.95!!! also the chips were off the frozen stodgy variety. At least they are child friendly and my 3 year old loved playing with games and puzzles. dalglish - 30 Jun 2009 10:48
Awful awful awful, thought we would enjoy a relaxing afternoon at a great location and were sorely dissapointment. I wont even bother to start with reasons why or I will be here for an hour just pop over the road like we did to The Rose & Crown and watch the cricket with good beer and food Turma - 22 Jun 2009 13:08
People from work like this place, but it has never done much for me. Only Bombardier was on this afternoon. In fact few beers were. The beer garden is pleasant, but unexceptionable. I have had poor food here in the past, but not eaten here for several years. All in all a rather unexceptional gastro-style pub. simontheeditor - 19 Apr 2009 18:40
