Enjoyed my first visit. Welcoming, refurbished appropriately rather than being spoilt. Very good quality and range of Titanic beers plus others. 5 X 1/3 sample trays a very good idea. Straightforward good pub-food. On the Sunday I called we had £1 dish of tasty casserole and mash, the £1 'donation' going to charity. What a great idea. Cheerful young bar maids who were welcoming, and could actually answer questions about the beer. I intend to go back.

Collected another card after ordering my pint of Titanic 'All Aboard'. An excellent pint but I need to remember to bring the card with me next time (have got three with one stamp on in the house).

More stylishly done up pub feel rather than traditional pub feel, an attempt to appeal to everyone I guess, a necessity these days, which seems to work.

Overall a very nice place and won over more by the excellent choice of Titanic and guest ales. The Captain Smiths and the mild sampled were very well kept and enjoyable.

It's an oddly triangular shaped corner pub with entrance between two rooms, bar straight ahead and further room passed the bar to the right. Found the atmosphere in the front rooms and around the bar very nice, but the back room does lack something, I can understand the "soulless feeling about the place from brianthelion. The room on the left has lots of chairs and small tables and very nice fireplace, the room on the right had comfy banquettes but around a rather overly large table which made it a bit awkward.

Excellent Titanic alehouse with their full range of ales plus 4 guests. Had a decent pint of Engine Room and then had a pint of Capt Smiths on the way back to the station.Friendly staff and customers as well.

10 beers on yesterday - 6 Titanic, Everards Tiger plus 3 guests. Prices range from £2.40. The Titanic ones we tried were v good. Not overly impressed with the menu so didn't bother eating here. Efficient staff who topped up the pints when necassary after they'd settled without being asked - always a good sign. Will certainly return.
