| well, i feel sorry for the locals of Ibstone, becuase the only pub in the area is one of the most souless venues ive ever been in. it seemed more like a premier inn hotel bar than a country pub. ikea style pine and white paint everywhere, and the cd of choice playing was a saxophone/muzak pop song cover album.... shudder. | Came here for an evening Wedding reception last Saturday. Quite a spacious rambling pub which is good for this sort of thing. They had 3 ales on: Rebellion Blonde, Short Pint (which was eventually replaced by IPA) & London Pride. The beer was pretty good but most of the time had to request top-ups which were done without problem. Booze_Allen - 18 May 2011 12:21 |
| Lovely pub, very nice decor, good beers on sale (Rebellion). Lovely food in restaurant, very nice staff. Bedroom basic, quite small but clean and functional. Would certainly recommend it. PHILB1 - 21 Nov 2010 14:43 |
| 3 real ales - Pride, Rebellion Blond and a Vale (I think). I drank the Blond which was good but expensive. Food from both the Thai and resteraunt menus is very good. I didn't go looking for them, but couldn't see any evidence of pinball or bar billiards. musher - 12 Jun 2009 13:59 |
