| My first time in an authentic Belgian bar and found it relaxing and very different. My learned friends had all been to Belgium and I was happy to take their views and choices during our visit.We thoroughly enjoyed each Ale tried and they were impressed by the range of beer on offer as it should satisfy any discerning drinkers taste. | came there for saturday lunch with a few friends. this is a very good pub/bistro, reasonable prices and friendly cosy atmosphere. the food was very good and the beer even better - excellent selections including sample trays. not your traditional english pub but i will definitely come back. beerdrinker64 - 1 Nov 2010 14:33 |
| I don't suppose any of u boozers remember the old 'Gaumont' cinema in Richmond, years back...? Well this is the basement! Every time i have a drink in here i try and recall what films i saw above that ceiling...! After the second drink, it doesn't seem to matter! (or just mak'em up!) | Popped "down" to the Brouge Bar recently. Had a gr8 session in there. And nobody knows you're in there...! There are no windows! The whole world passes by on the busy side-walk above, and no-one knows u r in there..!! In fact, not too many people know the bar is in there! Gr8 for clandestine meetings, or if u don't want to bump into the boss during lunch-hour...!! Gr8 choice of European beers &wine. 'If thats yor bag baby' (...as Austin says!) Luvvit. | Brilliant. I use to go to the one near Fulwell Station and it was great to see Brouge opening in Richmond. From the first time you walk in we are almost always greeted by Nick (the tall Australian, love your work mate) with fantastic customer service and the service just keeps coming from that point on till the time you walk out. The chefs are brilliant as the food that comes out has always been spot on. If you're only here for drinks then be sure to have the fries with your drinks, they are fantastic, even my mates from around here and my friend from around the world have spoken extremely highly about their buckets of fries. Already been here several times including the opening and will be back many more times.
