| I tried to book an Xmas meal here - don't bother, they couldn't be bothered to fax/e-mail me over a menu and when I did ring up to chase, the chef was quite rude. It's a nice looking pub and the staff are usually okay but just one bad experience is enough to put me off going there again. snorkler - 10 Dec 2006 14:47 |

| Average pub full of Reading fans on a Saturday. Couple of ales on (Rev James and another) that ran out by 7pm! I thought the staff were OK, they kept my phone safe behind the bar for an hour or so after I'd lost it. Quinno - 24 Sep 2006 16:26 |
