Quite busy on saturday lunchtime and very much open. A pub with a good buzz about it,situated on a back street between Brick Lane and Vallance road, its well worth seeking out. The Adnams Oyster Stout was excellent. A must vist pub when in the Bethnal Green area.

Nice place ,modern feel to it yet still a pub.Adnams Ghost Ship on and a Trumans beer brewed by Nethergate. Lively place well worth seeking out.

Tend to agree with mother123 about the clientele but it is still a good place to visit.

Trumans Runner (apparently brewed by 2 enthusiasts at Nethergate) Landlord and Adnams Bitter on offer. Quality was good and the service fine. A bit pricey though.

Okay it might be a bit of a hipster magnet and it's possible you'll get a slice of indifferent service. On the good side there is a great selection of beers and generally a good atmosphere, a few characters amongst the plaid shirts and '40s fight pilot hairdos. Bar snacks are pretty good too. I think I've eaten here but I can't really remember.
