| Quite busy on saturday lunchtime and very much open. A pub with a good buzz about it,situated on a back street between Brick Lane and Vallance road, its well worth seeking out. The Adnams Oyster Stout was excellent. A must vist pub when in the Bethnal Green area. Picasso09 - 12 Feb 2012 11:14 |

| Tend to agree with mother123 about the clientele but it is still a good place to visit. Trumans Runner (apparently brewed by 2 enthusiasts at Nethergate) Landlord and Adnams Bitter on offer. Quality was good and the service fine. A bit pricey though. cheshirecat - 29 Sep 2010 10:03 |
| Okay it might be a bit of a hipster magnet and it's possible you'll get a slice of indifferent service. On the good side there is a great selection of beers and generally a good atmosphere, a few characters amongst the plaid shirts and '40s fight pilot hairdos. Bar snacks are pretty good too.
