Lovely atmosphere, Had the best pork belly dish I have ever had. Yum! tippy - 27 May 2011 11:00
Being new to the area and having enjoyed some great beer in some lovely pubs in the area I thought that this place was going to live up to my great expectations. However on both occasions that I have been in I have been shocked by the attitude of the staff. On both occasions it has been a female member of staff who is obviously only interested in "preparing for the next day" and not actually interested in the customer on the day in question. I should have learned my lesson after the first time. My brother had come to visit and I wanted to show off the great pubs we had here in beaconsfield, instead he was met with drunken young men falling about, and an aggressive attitude from a member of staff who obviously couldn't close quick enough. If its any consolation The gents behind the bar caused me no concern and where having a joke around etc but were still professional. Needless to say I won't be drinking or eating here again, and will not recommend it to anyone. There is a nice pub across the road! Cutomer123 - 27 Mar 2011 09:49
Popped in here on a Friday night with no expectations. You can't argue with Bitter n Twisted and Doom Bar on pump, both at £2.60. The former in 10/10 condition. Roomy and comfortable with big tables so ideal for bigger groups. Obviously a food place but who cares, was there for the beer. Dilgutty - 24 Feb 2011 10:37
Very busy with diners when I visited on Sunday afternoon, but barman was quick and friendly and the pint of Doom Bar was in good condition and, at £2.60, reasonably priced for the area. Only problem was finding a seat! ace1973 - 6 Oct 2010 10:48
A rather frantic place at time of visiting so not your cosy traditional pub and very much emphasis on feeding people. The Bitter and Twisted was pretty good and only £2.60/pint - worth a quick peek through the door on passing by. Booze_Allen - 22 Feb 2010 20:35
