| Visited the pub several times and enjoyed the experience. That is until the night of Wed 14th Dec.I went to the bar for another drink but was told it was too late.I looked at the clock behind the bar and it said just 22.40! So I asked why it was they were shutting 20 mins before 11pm and the barmaid said it was to give us drinking up time! I pointed out that the drinking up time comes AFTER 11pm for,I believe, ten minutes. But she wouldn't budge and was neither apologetic or sympathetic and this is the week before Xmas, too. I would think twice before returning there again. Is that your policy to shut when it suits? I doubt it. It's a shame because it put a damper on my evening and that of several friends. westerly - 16 Dec 2011 13:47 |
