| Great pub / club, its run by Jackie and her Dad Tommy. Its a members only club but you can get a member to sign you in for a couple of quid. Staff relatively friendly ( one or two dragons as with all pubs). Good entertainment on a Saturday and Sunday, plus football matches shown in the games room. The Beer is really cheap and quite good - Guiness is the best I've tasted outside of Dublin. The pub does get busy on match days and although it does take a while to get served its worth it for teh atmosphere and the fun. All in all a well run pub . Jackie usually on hand for a good laugh at weekends - Tommy more of a growl but salt of the earth. ManUSupporter - 25 Sep 2009 15:22 |
| The club now costs £2 to join but the beer is very cheap. Unfortunately it is also keg rubbish beer. Sport on tv meant the place was packed. It is more of a social club than a pub and the food was okay as long as you wanted a pie. Handy for Old Trafford but wouldnt return. Santa - 8 Jun 2009 09:17 |
