This is one of the few Wetherspoon pubs that I have visited just for beer. A large room with 2 levels and a longish bar, I have visited for the last 4 years & had good service and good value for money beer each time. This year I had an Adnam's (2.20) which was fine. Just around the corner from the Theatre of Dreams, I can only imagine what it is like on game days, but around midday, mid week in mid summer it is a jolly good pub.

Easily one of the better JDWs I've visited.

Youngish, chipper staff and customers, lively atmosphere, beer better than usual JDW's, food up to expectations.

Working at Salford Quays thought I would pop in for a pint when going back to my digs, had my favourite pint of Abbott's and was bitterly disapointed beer tasted yeasty and not at all like Abbots staf were resistant about giving me an slternative pint, shame cause overall not a bad pub
