Lovely welcome. Late on a Sunday evening. We tried a dark guest ale. We'd had oodles by now, but still found it very enjoyable. The locals told us all newcomers had to sing! I'm relieved that they were joking, but I came back to find my pal joining in with 'The Crystal Chandeliar'

The singing continued with songs of the country and western genre. We left with large smiles, which has to be a good thing.

Visted Endeavour for a third occasion on 1st Jan 2012. Beer previously ok but this time had to take back a pint of Winter Tyne Mordue which, according to an independant witness," looked like dishwater". Staff on duty not inclined to apologise or change beer because no-one else had complained. Wrote politely to the licensee about this on the 3rd Jan but no response. Opinion on beer might be subjective, but reaction to complaints leaves something to be desired.

Called in for a quick and sampled an Adnams ale which was well kept and lovely and cold.... the landlord was a decent friendly chap and the pub had a happy atmoshphere....

There was no food or live music when i visited but there is a cracking Thai place next door that does great food !!

Good selection of real ales. Had a pint of Sambrooks Wandle, which was surprising, as it had travelled a good distance. Relaxing atmosphere.
