| Went there recently with some friends for a function. The function room is lovely and the food that was served was excellent. The DJ didn't take any notice about turning the music down hence i spent most of my time in the members lounge. There was a small group of people at the end of the bar who did nothing but complain about other members and staff whom i found to be very friendly and helpful. The members lounge is souless with lighting more suited to a hospital operating theatre and whilst the place is a rugby club, as it is open to the public for functions etc, they should have toned down the rugby paraphanalia adorning every square inch behind the bar. anonymous - 7 Jul 2007 10:03 |
| Not a pub as such but a Rugby club with a brand new and very decent bar. Weekly changing real ales (well kept), the best pint of Guiness this side of the Irish sea and live sports on the big screens (mostly rugby but you cant have everything).
