| Beer still poor. In my humble opinion no real change despite new management. Still no food. Expensive compared to other pubs in the immediate area. Did not get in this years camra real ale guide. | Thankfully now under new management. They are making a real effort but still have beer quality issues in my opinion. Maybe they should try selling fewer different bands?. Service is much better as they do most of it themselves. Prices still quite high and still needs refurbishment. They have tried doing Sunday lunches . maayoiyot - 5 Dec 2010 15:30 |
| visited again recently. No real change other than the beer was rank so i took it back. The next pint was no better. I've noticed many of the Victorys former locals in the Brandling just down the road, and that where i'll head in the future. maayoiyot - 4 Apr 2010 14:23 |
| Grubby pub that needs a refurb. In particular toilets are not the best. Beer quality no more than average and it does not surprise me people have taken drinks back.I have never seen the landlord serving which is always a bad sign to me. The staff hired appear disinterested and can clock watch until the end of thier shift. Prices seemhigher to me than its immediate competitors (Millstone and Brandling).
