| Is this a pub ? I arranged to meet somebody here, and walked straight past, as I thought that it was a cafe. Anyway, did manage to find my way inside, and it is just a pizza parlour that sells very expensive beer. The choice of beers is fantastic, if you like lager, Guinness or John Smiths. Basically a crap choice of beers at seriously expensive prices, in a pizza parlour. Not sure how this place qualifies as a pub, or gets a listing on this site. | Sadly the 2 for 1 pizzas are of random quality. We had 2 pamplonas. One was fine, the other somewhat burnt. We complained. Members of staff told us that one pizza was free so they would not replace it. The manager was apparently upstairs but did not come down. We drank up and left vowing never to return. | On the up again. Been renamed The Rosslyn, and while the layout is the same it's been tidied up around the edges. Beers are fine, staff a mix of helpful and studied moodyness. | love this place, a bit crappy in terms of decor etc but laid back and kooky - its not out to be anything special which is what i like about it. fab 2for1 pizzas on tuesday nights, and always plesant staff. auralay99 - 27 Oct 2008 14:03 |
