I went to this pub in the early evening with a friend and it took us a while to get served. That said the staff were fairly pleasant. There was a reasonable range of beers on tap including Greene King IPA and Charles Wells Bombardier. Not an unpleasant experience, but if I was in the area again I would most likely try a different pub.

Busy, traditional pub with friendly, fast service and comfortable seating. Well worth a visit.

Fairly ordinary central London pub - nothing particularly wrong with it, but won't be rushing back...

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I went there last night and ordered a steak for £9. What they brought me was a small lump of meat. No veg. No chips. Underneath the meat was a small square which - on further inspection - was a SLICE OF BROWN BREAD with the crusts cut off. An absolute joke. They think they can get away with serving that and charging people for it? That was it - tiny steak, slice of bread, a dribble of sauce and two burnt mushrooms. The terrible thing was that it was so busy, the waiter didn't understand what we were saying, so we couldn't complain.

Absolutely terrible. The bar staff seemed more interested in talking to each other and throwing ice around than serving beer. Stood at the bar for 20 minutes and still hadn't been served. Left in order to find a drink elsewhere.
