ordered a pint of some lager but they changed my mind when I spotted the Litoval. Some bloke asked me what it was like because he'd never tried it and I said truthfully, Ive no idea because nor have I. But tried it i did because lets face it, a czech lager will normally be good and I loved it. A great find and would be glad to see it again. My dads band apparently rehearsed upstairs here in the late 60s/early 70s, and its clearly still a music style pub. Bit of a younger clientele feel about it which is fine. And any pub with a piano gets good marks. Decent pompeyron - 26 Sep 2011 17:05

Great pub and I enjoyed the quiz night. Lovely beer, a few guest ales and great bar staff. makavelli - 20 May 2011 14:13
Well located pub on Action High St. Fullers ESB & Pride are served. The cider is Aspalls. The interior is open plan with table football near the entrance and a stage to the right. Large windows make it fairly bright and airy. There are plenty of tables and chairs, including some outside. An Italian kitchen is advertised. Had a strange mixture of clientele, including some of the drunken types you would normally find in Wetherspoons. Very little or no atmosphere on my visit. blue_scrumpy - 19 Jun 2010 15:25
