Quieter than some of Camden’s pubs and clearly trying to attract a “better class” of clientele based on the menu and their prices, Bombardier £3 a pint. Decent pub for watching sports, big screen, lots of pine furniture and wooden floors. Apparently I had just missed “Tup Idol” some crass Karaoke competition running across the chain when I visited earlier in the year - what a shame!

Has the look of a standard stripped pine chain pub. Very standard beer selection, pretty crap for real ale drinkers, but at least the Guinness is well kept and not served tastelessly chilled.

Nice chilled out upstairs room for watching the Rugby.

Surprisingly good food (the usual fare - microwave/frier, but a cut above any other bar in the neighbourhood). My kingdom for a crispy chip!

Watched the Grand National & FA Cup in here last Saturday after a day in the park. I found it to be a very comfy welcoming & laid back little boozer. I'll certainly be back soon.

Went to this pub to catch a bit of the Tottenham match last sunday.
first time i have been in and might pop back if some of the other pubs are too packed for my taste.
As far as it goes for quiet sunday drink and football match it doesnt seem too bad, only problem i had was i kept having to go downstairs to the bar then upstairs to the football..
not bad..

Does beerintheevening do a worst service award? I've been drinking in this pub frequently over the last few months (out of proximity to a mate's office, not because I have quirky taste and have decided to overlook Camden's exceptional selection of pubs). I am 25 and certainly (unfortunately for me, perhaps) look my age. However, the Camden Tup made the managerial decision to have me and my 26- and 27-year old friends removed last night because some Trick or Treating kids decided to harass us in the pub and it was decided that they were with us and therefore we were required to show I.D. Now, as with plenty of other folk who haven't been asked to prove their age since they were 17, I do not carry I.D. I'm able to prove I'm over 18, but that wasn't deemed sufficient. Thanks to some mighty persuasion from other punters who were aware of the situation, we were not ejected, although I was not allowed to drink alcohol either (not that I was overly keen to line the pockets of said establishment at this stage either). I'll be taking my custom somewhere where the spiteful blond bar girl can't abuse me unnecessarily. Goodbye from me, Camden Unfriendly Namby-pamby Tup. :-)
