| Certainly more to my taste than the shouty, puking main drag, this is a small gastro-pub largely populated by young locals. Priority on seating those ordering food, so you may be lucky to get a seat if just drinking at busy times. I've never eaten there but the food looks and smells incredible, if a little pricey. Only two ales on tap, but they have always been well kept when I've been there, and less choice makes life easier! Decent range of draft lager, and wine is probably ok. It's not particularly dear to my heart, but its a nice place with friendly staff. dead_celeb - 10 Jul 2011 19:41 |
| This is SUCH a nice pub. Went for a few early evening drinks on Saturday and ended up staying until 2am - THATS how great it is!!! Think it's only open until that time on weekends but it's sooooo good to find somewhere decent that's open late in Camden. We shared a great bottle of Sauvingnon Blanc (or two!!!) and a platter with selection of chorizo, parma ham etc - was DELICIOUS! The staff are really fun and friendly and they have a great ipod selection. Will definitely be back. Seriously give this place a try - you won't regent it. PrincessVF - 21 Mar 2011 19:03 |

| Pleasant enough pub with attentive and helpful staff one street back from the main drag. It's clearly a gastro pub as table orders are taken and the food is bledy expensive. Only two ales on tap - Bombadier was fine, Adnams was off - so not a place for the discerning drinker but perhaps more of a place for a date away from the noise and smell of Camden High Street. | Food to DIE for in here but if you are getting here in the evenings between Thursday and Sunday, you may not get a seat to be able to eat. The crowd (see Hawley Arms) is a bit too trendy at those times for my liking. I feel like I should be wearing a hat to fit in! Range of beer is poor but the wine selection is good. Nice place for a drink as long as it's not during peak times. Great looking place too! rachelgreen - 29 Dec 2010 21:07 |
