Did not enjoy this place at all. No real ales/bitters available. It felt chilly in there, and the icey glares of the bar staff did not help! It may have been recently refurbished but the set-up did not seem quite right. Not convinced by it at all. Do not think I would return.

it looks like it's been re-opened after a paint job. it's now grey and dark grey, replacing the red and cream. they still do pizzas. used to go here for the half price food on tuesday. beer's crap.

Nice pub, have often driven past and seen people sitting outside on the roof terrace. I was there recently for a doo and we were upstairs. The roof terrace was open but we were advised not to sit on the tables down the end nearest the road???

The beer was good and reasonably priced but the room upstairs needed the bar to be open really and the music was too loud, it was impossible to have a conversation.

I would go there again but sit downstairs, well at least until they make the roof safe again
