| PUB CLOSED EARLIER THIS MONTH - NOW BOARDED UP. BREWERY CANNOT GET A LANDLORD SINCE THE ARMED HOLD UP LATE LAST YEAR - LOCAL PAPER SAY FLATS ARE TO BE BUILT ON THE LAND. OTHER LOCAL RUMOUR IS THAT TESCO HAVE BEEN SURVEYING LAND TO BUILD A TESCO LOCAL. Drunken_Duck - 21 Mar 2008 19:03 |

| Since this pub changed from a Harvester to a Sizzler, standards have dropped. Sells cheap beer (assume it is short dated and specially purchased). when I was in there earlier this year I too found it to be short on bar staff. On the night I was there they were holding a Quiz, that was more like organised chaos when drunken customers took over the mic and read out the questions. (I hope that it was a one off).
