| Very nice pub with open fire and friendly staff. Also has a good sized dinning room as well serving very good food (The steak & ale pie and the hot chocolate fudge cake come fully recommended). Had a good selection of about 5 well kept real ales on. The Maypole is right next to the busy A65 but noise of traffic is minimal but easy to find & well worth a pit stop if you’re passing. sootythebeerbear - 26 Mar 2008 01:05 |

| The Maypole Inn has two bars (which offer a good selection of hand pulled traditional ales) with open fires. It has a big car park and some outside seating for when the weathers nice. The menu is varied and seemed to cater for every taste, there was a daily specials board and delicious sweet menu too. Children and dogs are welcome. Accomodation is available too.
