needs a refurb, full of chavs, TOTALLY overpriced - entry price is rediculous, drinks prices too are ludicrous.

Can't really add to what has already been said as it is mostly spot on. I have been here a few times and always when too drunk to know better. It is either empty (looking sad, forlorn and in desperate need of refurbishment) or rammed (uncorfortable and chav city). I'm probably too old for it anyway, I'm certainly old enough to know better.

I have travelled to many a pit of doom in my years but this particular dive resembles the 7th pit of Hell....

The only thing that can be worse than going in here is maybe a 7 car pile up or a sudden amputation of a limb....

If you want a glass in your face or a dose of the HIV then crack on in here on a Friday/Sat night...

Nice!!!

Hi There, I'm Ollie, a resident of Epsom for 27 years now!!

I guess I'm middle class but either way, no one I socialise with goes to Chicago's. The place is aweful, looks rough, stinks of booze, piss and sick, and costs an arm and a leg. As an indie kid at heart, I would rather head out to Brixton or Clapham on a night out - rather LESS chance of getting beaten up there methinks!!

In the case of Epsom as a whole, I've just come back after living for a year in Sheffield, and before that was living in South London, so haven't lived at 'home' for around 3 or 4 years now - the place is improving. There are more diverse bars here now, plus more places suitable for people in their late twenties / early thirties (like what I am lol!!)

As for the 'ladies' if you like completely fat, ugly, common slappers then this will do you a treat. I have a higher standard I'm afraid (private education did me the world of good!!!)

Cheers, OT.

I used to come here years ago.

Never had a bad night out in 'shittys'.

Its in need of a total refurb, maybe hold an indie/alternative night there. That is what Epsom lacks. An alternative night free from idiots.
