Did not have time to try again so the poor quality of the beer may have been a one off, please try for yourself and post a comment. beer_hunter - 31 Dec 2011 21:25
Beer tonight was very poor, this maybe a one off from reading other reviews. Food was also not the best my burger was okay but the wife's meal of macaroni cheese was bland. Other four in the party had nice meals chef was at the twelve bells before and his food was always good. If I go in again I will update beer_hunter - 28 Dec 2011 20:24
Used to be a vary characterful pub. Really traditional. But at some point (2009?) some interior designers got their mitts on it and turned it into a generic semi-trendy bar/eatery. Nice rear garden. Bar staff more concerned with watching the horse racing on the TV than serving on my last (and final) visit. griffo59 - 30 Jul 2011 19:00
yes i would agree, What a lovely Pub. f6c - 7 Nov 2010 17:18
Returned last week and enjoyed a truly excellent meal. The new chef obviously knows his onions and the whole place had a buzz about it. Will return again sooner this time. cirencestersquirrel - 23 Aug 2010 16:13
