Thank you Claire & all your staff for a most wonderfull New Years Eve 2011 / New Years Day 2012. Also I wish to thank all the great people in The Five Bells whom I don't know for making my night so great.

Great pub . Very friendly Landlady and staff . The locals are also friendly .The beer is good and they have a good selection .The entertainment is very good with a pool table, darts , good jukebox and big screens for watching sports .They Also have theme nights now and again .. Highly recommend

Once you've negotiated the small army of smokers and mobility scooters outside, it's a fairly tidy place inside. Mainly the older gents watching racing on the TV, but the barstaff are friendly and the beer is cheap and well kept. Not a place to bring the girly - particularly because the sight of a female on the 'other' side of the bar may be too much for some of the clientele - but fine for a quickie. I've noticed that the doors get locked at odd hours sometimes, but people still drinking inside?

Clair it's not good writing your own reviews (Look at the last Three) trade going down??? Just look at the new type of costumers you are attracting, no wonder all the locals have gone.
