| Great pub . Very friendly Landlady and staff . The locals are also friendly .The beer is good and they have a good selection .The entertainment is very good with a pool table, darts , good jukebox and big screens for watching sports .They Also have theme nights now and again .. | Once you've negotiated the small army of smokers and mobility scooters outside, it's a fairly tidy place inside. Mainly the older gents watching racing on the TV, but the barstaff are friendly and the beer is cheap and well kept. Not a place to bring the girly - particularly because the sight of a female on the 'other' side of the bar may be too much for some of the clientele - but fine for a quickie.
