| OK community pub - but the ale is not much cop. I like the landlord as he does not suffer fools or troublemakers gladly. Incidentally, the other day I was standing at the bank machine just next to this pub when a wino staggered out of the pub and tried to scrounge some money of me for his bus fare. | I’ve read a few reports which suggested that this place was a bit rough. A relatively new place (bank conversion I think) but feels like it’s a lot older. I’ve always enjoyed nights out there. Nice garden in the summer and big screen football when the need arises. 6bh96 - 5 Dec 2006 21:26 |

| I think this pub is a fine place to drink. The landlord doesn't put up with any shit and keeps the real trouble makers out. It is a proper local pub and everyone seems to know each other and this can sometimes make you feel like an outsider. Shades - 6 Jun 2006 13:45 |
