Not a bad pub. I enjoyed the atmosphere, beer, beer snacks and decoration, however once you decide to use the toilet it is like walking through a magic door which puts you in the red light district, amsterdam. The machines in there offer more sex toys and viagra than real ales on pump. Its ok though i drink lager, but not through a dick-shaped straw.

i go to this pub about once a month and usually on a friday, the live bands are brilliant but the last two times it's been a bit crap.
I think the atmo is good and people seem freindly enough and they always seem up for a laugh.
The bear in this gaff too is top notch not any of that watered down stuff, a bit dear also but worth it for the quality you get.

This pub was really good for live bands friday and saturday, but seems lately to have gone down hill slightly, perhaps its due to no smoking? It was always rammed weekends but now you can get to the bar easily, with at least four staff fighting to serve you. Perhaps they could do with some younger bar staff who would give you a smile now and again!!
