| What a pleasant change this pub is. It has been recently been taken over and is bright and well decorated. All the cask Hooky beer is served straight from the cask directly behind the bar and for a small pub they were carrying Best, Gold and always Hookies monthly ale. Certificates for beer quality and mangament are on display. A CAMRA Member Pub. The home cooked pub grub had good portions and well priced and I look forward to using the fabulous garden on a more pleasant day. | Its like being in someones living room, but being made welcome at the same time. This pub serves great Hooky straight out of the barrel sometimes. There is a little library and the old boys corner, then the other end, the lads and the telly. A home from home. The garden is terrific on a sunny day.
