Haven't been here much since the refurbishment myself. I discovered Scruffies at around the same time. Only been going to Brum for about 5 years previous to that...

dark dingey rock pub, get varied ppl in there of aday time, rockers on a night. not much beer on offer, has pool tables and a big screen and fruit machines plus a pinball table. the worste pub tiolets i have ever used, friendly enough staff !! if u love dark pubs then u will love this place, could be better but hey

Costers used to be the place to go but don't go there anymore although now tom's taken over manager it has got a bit better and the pool table is back in it's proper place. only £1.70ish a pint though so not bad. Don't go in the blokes toilets!

This is an OK rock pub, but lacking slightly in atmosphere. Booze average. Toilets foul. I actually walked back out of the ladies as it stank of ammonia so badly I was convinced I was in the mens'. A mirror wouldn't go amiss either. A couple of comfy leather sofas if you're lucky enough to get in early. Not a bad little jukebox. Went in with friends from Birmingham and the only difference they and I could see was the entrance is a bit beige. Scruffy's is better for atmosphere and chatting to random pissheads.

Go to Scruffy Murphy's instead. This pub has lost all it's appeal since it was refurbished.
