| Despite living a few miles away, I try and vist here whenever I can, Rob the owner is a great character, and he certainly knows how to keep, and serve a perfect pint of real ale. There are usually four hand pulled bitters on offer, each with a distinctly different taste, but all are usually at their best! There is regular live music in The Guitar Bar, and ample car parking, just make sure you get a car parking permit though, as folk from across the road at The Polish Club tend to use his car park as if its their own! | Good Points.... It's great to find musicians who are not up their own arse. Fair stage-time given to all Management and staff always agreeable. Bad Points.... Selling probibly the worst lager in the world. Half of the clientel seem to be so far up their own arses that they look on everyone as shite. P.A. caould do with turning up. OVER-ALL..... It is indeed a quite venue..but one where you can relax, (inspite of the lager). It will seem like it has its little cliques at first to a new comers, BUT I believe this is unintentional as most people there will stop and have a chat.
