Refused entry on a Friday night because I was wearing (clean) trainers. Get a clue, people - this is Moseley not the West End. Or maybe it was just the doorman referred to earlier, I don't know. rainlight - 10 Sep 2011 12:01
Never been in the place, having regualrly walked past the outside bit, and seen the type of clientele it attracts on a Friday night. blindguardian - 27 Jul 2010 13:15
One piece of advice for the owners of this place would be to sack the racist black doorman who is regularly offensive to the clientel and treats the place like he owns it.. so often the case with bars in Brum. Maybe the real owner would be shocked to witness the friendly couples and small groups who are having their night ruined by this ignorant moron who is letting his scummy chav mates have a free run of what is during the week a pleasant bar staffed by nice pleasant people. I was a regular eating £50+ worth of food and drink twice a week with my girlfriend until I visited one saturday night. I will never return and none of my circle of friends will do either. happyhead - 16 Dec 2009 19:13
I know someone who occasionally works in the kitchens here. I have also had the food (not sure he cooked it!), but it was a decent veggie burger as I recall. Otherwise the place is full of Sandal wearing Hoxton wannabees drinking the expensive bottled continental lager on offer. Not a place I will regularly visit. wbafc_beer - 28 Nov 2009 09:30
Laid back place a little epensive but good food. The Gourmet burgers look meaty and the chips are like those from a chippy. andyaston - 3 Apr 2009 17:55
