| I used to go here a lot when they had quizzes on and I have always found the staff very friendly and the pub as a whole has a very communal atmosphere. | I agree with most of the earlier comments, it's a very dump and filthy place. However, I wanted to give'em another chance and went in to watch an England footie game. Instead of the England game though, they were showing Lithuania v France on some strange Asian channel. Still very filthy, with some rather odd people inside and very smokey. The only plus is the summer terrace, that's about it... Worth to walk a bit further to check out some better pubs... pete_N22 - 26 Mar 2007 15:11 |
| Used to like this pub, until management changed. Got rid of live music, sky tv, quiz nights, flushing toilets and regulars! Most expensive pub in the area with the least atmosphere. Smells of dog poo -`not6 even with a visit! anonymous - 13 Jul 2005 02:25 |
