This place is always quite entertaining, lots of characters. Also it is open late which is cool. It is rather expensive however. roon_baboon - 5 Mar 2008 21:46
Well, for this area that is really rough the pub looks: -overpriced definitely -low quality -atmosphere is friendly though qqqqqqq - 28 Oct 2007 01:23
a gay place, beer is good but little overpriced--it is not a central London for ... sake anonymous - 15 Oct 2007 00:44
Needs to do something, used to be okay, new owners trying their best but tends to fill with alcopop-fuelled late teens from the Wetherspoons later. Have to say have given up now after living in the area for two years. Easier to get bus to Stoke Newington or Islington. anonymous - 10 Oct 2006 11:19
Quite a nice little pub, got lots of charm when it gets going. The landlord and his wife are decent, hard-working people who will always welcome you. If you want a place thats buzzing, get here later, otherwise it's pretty quiet. Some of the locals are a bit cliquey and think they own the bleeding place, that's my only criticism. anonymous - 24 Apr 2006 16:06
