| A hotel bar that is quite nice. Very quiet. The bar is a bit small. Beer is ok. Ales are Bass if memory serves me correctly. Staff can be a bit hit and miss. Generally ok though. anonymous - 3 Oct 2006 16:16 |
| This is a nice pub. The accommodations for rooms on the other hand, has changed drastically in the last five years. Once upon a time, the staff was cheerful. After the last stay, we will not return. Ownership, we were told, has changed hands. The staff was argumentative and we were charged twice for our room. The reservation was also incorrect, but the hotel clerk took more pleasure in debating the issue than correcting their error. caligirl - 31 Jul 2006 17:48 |
