Came in on Saturday lunchtime for a pint as I hadn't visited this pub before.

Good selection of local beers & european lagers on tap, of which the 3 beers were from within a max of 7 miles from the pub, this impressed me.

Price was reasonable, £3.40 a pint and was served and kept well.

Only 2 couples in who were both eating when I was here, food seemed fairly priced for this very nicely decorated pub well more Gastro pub to be honest.

All in all a pleasant visit and a place I will come back to.

Thanks for the reply earlier this year - yes it was noticed that more action was taken so thank you.

I love this pub, its the best in the area. The only problem is the menu hasnt changed for 6 months which is putting customers off. This is a place you go to eat but the menu is sadly lacking. The staff are lovely as are most of the customers but please guys review the menu! Its got very boring.

To Gonetolunch,

We have brought the outside drinking time forward some months ago from 11pm to 10.30pm out of respect to the residents. The Victoria I believe is 11pm. We do everything possible after that to keep the noise levels down as we are very much a pub in a residential area. Please feel free to come and speak to me if you have any further issues.

They need to close the outside area earlier in the evening, as the Victoria does down the road. Seem to have forgotten they are in a neighbourhood. Get a grip owners - too noisy on warm evenings.
