user reviews of the John Kennedy, Aylesbury

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I have drank in this pub since the early 1970's when Harry F. was the manager and I can say that it has gone so far down hill that I have stopped using it.
Everything that could be wrong with it is. The latest refurbishment is utter appaling and a total waste of money at the same time the price of the beer went up presumably to pay for the decorating.
Pubs are not for Dog's or Baby's this say's more about the convenience of the manager than anything else.

There was a time not to long ago when Raz & Lyn ran this pub that it felt as though you were walking into their private living room the place was kept spotless the staff were super efficient and both bar areas were open for customer service and both bar's usually packed (check the bar takings for those years, they were taking in a week what this pub probably takes in a month now)
Other than that I am sure the present staff/management mean well, and have done a good job getting the teenagers and Drugs out but it has now become a not very nice pub according to me...
I suppose all pubs have high points and low points in there history/life and unfortunatly the J.K. is going through a low point at the moment.
