| A bit of a 'builder's bar' and during the early part of the evening frequented by those covered in paint and plaster (so watch where you sit down!) | There was no real ale on in this Pub and Carvery so we just had the meal. It was OK for the price I suppose but I have had better. Didn't bother with a drink as we were doing the real ale trail and were saving ourselves for the delights to come. gillhalfpint - 5 Jun 2007 12:16 |
| A pint of Spitfire was only £2 a pint, thought I was getting a very good bargain untilI tasted it. Too cold ansd served like lager!! Probably okay if you're a lager or spirit drinker and having a meal, but not for a 'real' beer drinker. anonymous - 12 Mar 2006 13:05 |
