Daffodils all over the bar for St. David's Day. Not that there was any Welshmen around as far as I could work out.

Friendlist "real" pub in the area. Addlestones Cider and real beers. Two bars. Small, low ceiling. Attractive decor. Coal or wood fire some winter evenings.

The Ship is the only 'real' pub in the area, very friendly and with a good rang of beers, and other drinks at reasonable prices. It is often refered to as the 'Office' as it is a meeting place for many people after work.

The lunchtime food is excelent and really home cooked for a change. No food on Sundays but 'nibbles' on the bar.

Be careful though, you may go in for a 'quick one' and end up staying until closing!

By the way check their 'thought of the day' board outside.
